The City of Niles will be implementing an Advanced Meter Reading Infrastructure (AMI): an integrated system of electric and water meters, communications networks, and data management systems that enables two-way communication between utilities and consumers.

Pucker Street Dam Removal - Project Completed in Fall of 2021
The City of Niles worked with the Southwestern Michigan Planning Commission to restore the Dowagiac River to a free-flowing river by removing the Pucker Street Dam.
